What does the FMCSA fuel-hauler waiver allow?

FMCSA’s 90-day waiver, effective September 16 through December 16, 2026, allows eligible gasoline and diesel haulers to operate up to 16 hours in a 24-hour period while maintaining required rest breaks. FMCSA’s National Registry II transition relief for paper Medical Examiner’s Certificates ends October 11, 2026.
